SAADA events -47th Annual Antiques Fair - October 2011

The Old Corkscrew exhibited at The Olympia International Fine Arts and Antiques Fair that took place from the 9th to 19th June 2011. This fair now in it's 38th staging is regarded as the barometer of the English art and antiques trade. It had 150 exhibitors and attracts over 30 thousand visitors.

The owner, Jeremy Astfalck is pictured here just prior to opening, and was delighted with the number of foreign visitors to the fair. A number of sales were made to existing London based clients as well as visitors from New York and Europe. "What surprised me most" he said "was the number of visitors who had either been to The Old Corkscrew or were planning to visit in the next few months."

"This kind of international exposure is where the market is going and certainly helps in raising our profile." The Old Corkscrew was noted in an Olympia press release "11 facts from the 2011 Olympia International Fine Arts and Antiques Fair" as being the "Longest distance a dealer has traveled to exhibit at the fair".
