A fine Louis XV oval gold snuff-box

Distinguishing Features:
Inset with enamel panels painted with domestic interiors and still life in the manner of Chardin, the borders to the lid and base chased with vari-coloured gold, the lid slide with running scrolls and the body with festooned pilasters, by Francois Guillaume Tiron, Paris, lid and sides 1761, base 1762, with the charges of Eloi Brichard and J.J. Prevost respectively.
