The Old Corkscrew @ the Olympia Fine Art & Antiques Fair in London June 2012

The Old CorkscrewAfter a very successful debut in 2011 Jeremy Astfalck of The Old Corkscrew based in Franschhoek in the Western Cape is returning to Olympia for the 2012 event.

With 200 exhibitors, the 40th Olympia International Fine Art & Antiques Fair runs from the 7th to 17th of June 2012. This fair, one of London’s most established art and antiques events, is regarded as a highlight of the London summer season. It attracts over 30,000 visitors and has become a destination for buyers searching for high caliber unique pieces that can’t be found on the high street.

Some of the highlights sourced especially for the occasion include a collection of Ndebele beadwork collected in the 1950’s as well as the magnificent Art deco silver tea service pictured right.
